Sharing a vacation home with other families is not new. My first experience goes back to a cabin at Mt. Baker in the 1960s. In this case, it was a cabin we could only reach by snowshoe and shared with four other families from my hometown of Bellingham. It left indelible memories and a deep appreciation for the extraordinary places Washington state has to offer.
Our shared cabin experience sparked my father’s entrepreneurial spirit and in 1974, he co-founded the groundbreaking timeshare company Vacation Internationale. Learning from him, I went on to lead The Walt Disney Company into the shared ownership business with the highly successful Disney Vacation Club. Building on this experience, I launched my own fractional ownership company and built Les Saisons, in Sun Valley, Idaho.
Esterre is a new concept tailored to today’s consumer and represents the culmination of nearly four decades of experience in the shared ownership business.
